UNDERSTANDING THE BRIEF
Following the success of the 2023 event, Clear partnered with MPA to deliver the Prevent Breast Cancer charity fundraising lunch in November 2024. Held at the Midland Hotel, the event promised a stylish and elegant experience, featuring exceptional food and inspiring speakers associated with the charity. Clear was responsible for managing and liaising with speakers, sponsors and supported the MPA team with full event production. Hosted by Granada TVs Katie Walderman, the event attracted over 100 guests – an increase of 15% on 2023.
MESSAGING
The MPA Prevent Breast Cancer lunch brought together guests from diverse industries across Manchester for an afternoon focused on breast cancer awareness. The event included engaging discussions, creative demonstrations and activities aimed at inspiring and entertaining attendees.
Key elements of the agenda included:
- A panel discussion with Prevent Breast Cancer ambassadors.
- A live floral arrangement demonstration.
- A presentation on color matching.
- Afternoon tea and a charity raffle.
PRODUCTION
Clear coordinated a diverse range of raffle prize donations, including hotel and spa packages, gift vouchers, skincare products, photography sessions, and more. The team provided end-to-end technical support, from planning to operation, while also managing:
- Branding and presentation content design.
- Room décor and event styling.
- Scriptwriting for the guest presenter.
The result was a highly successful, memorable event that raised both awareness and funds for a vital cause. Plans are in place for the 2025 event that Clear are delighted to be supporting.
